Observation: No bleach sanitizer prepared at time of inspection (2pm). Wiping towels left on counters between uses.

NOTE: this infraction was cited in the August 10, 2017 routine inspection (report#: ECAO-AQ4TU5) -continued infractions here will require increased enforcement: i.e. ticket(s): between $230 to $345 per infraction
Corrective Action(s): The bleach sanitizer buckets MUST be prepared first thing in the morning and towels rinsed then left in the buckets to ensure they are clean and germ free.

Concentration levels must be maintained >100ppm bleach residual as per your chlorine test strips

Workers are to clean and sanitize ALL food contact surfaces

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Front bar area has only a paper towel roll for drying hands after handwashing
Corrective Action(s): Place a paper towel dispenser there (spindle type okay) so as the ends of the rolls do not get contaminated when handled

502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
Observation: At time of inspection (2pm) no staff onsite has FOODSAFE Level 1 valid certification. Two staff have their certificates expired as they took it well over a decade ago.
Corrective Action(s): Have at least one staff certified -ensure at least every 5 years their certificates are re-validated as they expire now. Information card provided.
