Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection
At the inspection dated March 9, 2022 there were six children and one staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool is completed and a copy is provided. This report was reviewed with the staff person and written off site. A copy of this report will be emailed to the manager.
The following were discussed:
· Taping a copy of the purchase receipt to the fire extinguisher to prove date of purchase.
· Ensuring all criminal record check renewals are applied for before the expiry date.
