This inspection report was completed off site and a copy emailed to the operator. The observations and infractions were reviewed with the staff member on duty at time of inspection:
Hand wash stations in the front service area and across the prep table in the back had soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water.
All coolers 4C or less (walk in, under counter, prep cooler..etc)
Walk in freezer -18C and undercounter freezer - 14C
Rice in hot holding unit 63C
Ice machine was empty and not in use at time of inspection. Ensure ice machine is emptied/cleaned/sanitized regularly (suggested to be done monthly) when in use and the scoop for the ice is to be stored outside of the ice in a separate container.
No obvious sign of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
Quat sanitizer 200ppm at source, in spray bottles and warewashing compartment of sink. Staff appear to be using single use paper towel to wipe.
Manual ware washing procedures reviewed at time of inspection – no concerns. Drain plugs available.
COVID safety protocols: mandatory masking signage posted at entrance, occupancy limit and physical distancing sign posted inside - recommend to post this information at entrance. Barrier in place at POS, sanitizer available for customers, 1 staff member on duty at time of inspection was wearing a mask, staff do not regularly document symptom check - recommend symptom check done by staff are recorded. Ensure appropriate disinfectant is used routinely on high touch non food contact surfaces. |
