Summary of Inspection:
During today’s inspection, there were 3 children, 2 staff present. At this inspection there were no contraventions was identified therefore no corrective action is required by the licensee at this time.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy was provided to the facility along with this report.
The Risk Assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection and a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation and is used to determine inspection frequency.
The following education/recommendations were provided:
· One CRC was found to be expired in a staff file, the licensee had sent copy of a criminal record check however staff were unable to confirm if this was the renewal for the expired CRC identified. Licensee will email full copy of the record to licensing for review.
· Documentation of emergency evacuations and fire drills.
· Systems for reviewing files regularly to ensure staff files are full and up to date.
