-Follow-up inspection to June 30, 2017.
-FoodSafe Level 1 certified staff member was on-site at the time of inspection. Staff are scheduled so there will be at least one FoodSafe Level 1 certified staff member on-site at all times. Staff member's FoodSafe Level 1 was issued on January 27, 2013. Certificates issued prior to July 29, 2013 expire on July 29, 2018. In order to recertify, students must either successfully complete a FoodSafe Level 1 course or an online refresher course (foodsafe.ca).
-3-compartment sink was prepared with 200ppm Quats sanitizer at the time of inspection.
-Sanitizer spray bottle was tested at 200ppm Quats and properly labelled. Ensure food contact surfaces are sanitized after each use or every 2 hours if used constantly.
-Did not observe any foods stored on the floor at the time of inspection.
-Facility have been serviced for drain flies. Sticky traps have been placed in the facility and number of flies has decreased. Sticky traps are not to be placed over food preparation or food storage areas.
-General cleaning has been carried out in the walk-in cooler (one area was still found to have some mould growth). Recommend using a bright flashlight to visually inspect shelving units for general sanitation on a regular basis.
-Plywood has been removed from under the pizza prep cooler.
-Staff were using the white board at the time of inspection to track storage time for pizzas (discarded after 2 hours).
