Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the food items are stored at least 6" off the floor to prevent the risk of food contamination.

Observation: 1) Stand-up cooler does not seal properly resulting in inadequate circulation of cold air. The temperature was noted at 8C. No cold potentially hazardous food was stored in the cooler at the time of inspection.
2) Chest freezer in front service area has thick ice build-up that has resulted in freezer to remain partially open.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that all equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are in good working order.
1) Repair the cooler to ensure that it is able to maintain a temperature of at least 4C or less. Do not store any cold potentially hazardous food in the cooler until it has been reapired.
2) Ensure that chest freezer is able to seal properly. Consider defrosting/removing thick ice build-up.

Observation: Previously contaminated bulk packaged items were being re-packaged into smaller retail packets with no labels for sale to the public. Package sealer and weighing scale were found hidden in a rack at the back of the store.
Correction: DISCARD all contaminated food items. Do not re-package pest-contaminated food for sale to the public. Remove packaging equipment from the facility. You are not approved for re-packaging of any food products. Date to be corrected by: immediately

Routine inspection conducted at the food facility and the following observations were made during the inspection:

- Temperature of chest freezer in back area at -18C.
- Upright freezer at -11C.
- Cooler at 8C. See violation above.
- Chest freezer in front service area at -15C.
- Upright freezer at -10C.
** It is recommended to maintain daily temperature logs for the refrigeration units.
- All products were found either in original packaging or covered inside coolers.
** Back storage area and stand-up freezer requires re-organization.
- Professional pest control company conducts routine checks. Last inspection conducted on xx
- No visible signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection.
- In general, the facility is maintained in good sanitary condition.
