HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 8
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1 hand wash sink in the back kitchen did not have liquid soap. Staff restocked the soap dispenser at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): To ensure adequate handwashing, please provide hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels at each handwash station during facility operation.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. 2x silicone spatula were worn out with uneven surface and cracked sides that could break and fall in food causing potential food contamination. Moreover, uneven surfaces and cracks are hard to clean and sanitize and can harbour pathogens. Staff discarded both spatulas at the time of inspection.
2. Seal installed on side of walk in cooler door is loose and not affixed in place. This may not result in inadequate cold air circulation within the cooler and it can change the ambient temperature. Manager fixed the seal during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that all equipment/food contact surfaces are maintained in good working order.
Violation Score: 3

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
