Comments

Follow up inspection to routine conducted on Feb 28, 2018 (RPT #: JMAA-AWEQXB) to verify that employees have been informed about proper handwashing procedures, and that all handwashing stations are available for employees.

- Assistant store manager held a staff meeting to inform produce food handlers regarding proper handwashing procedures and frequency of handwashing
- Employees were reminded to wash their hands (e.g. after handling cash, going to the restroom, before, during, and after food preparation) at time of inspection
- Reminder: Gloves are not a substitute for handwashing. Please wash your hands before and after wearing gloves. Ensure that hands are dried prior to putting on new gloves
- All handwashing stations in produce area / store are adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels
- Employees observed handwashing during food preparation in produce area

Please ensure that employees continue to wash their hands at an adequate frequency.
