Observation: -Produce aisle open air coolers -upper shelves under the baskets have accumulation of filth: soil, food debris and mold
-All open air coolers have some level of food debris, mold buildup
-Upstairs storage areas have poor sanitation and organization: accumulation of empty boxes, foods stored on the ground and other garbage
-some old rat droppings observed in storage room behind employee washroom on main floor -this room is in a poor state of sanitation and organization
Corrective Action(s): -Clean and disinfect all shelves, fridge walls and floors upstairs.
-Discard all empty produce boxes and garbage upstairs
-Organize all goods on your available shelves (more multi-level shelves will be needed)
-Ensure all lowest shelves are at least >15cm off the floor to ease cleaning and monitoring of pests underneath
-Remove all rat droppings from storage room clean and disinfect this room and organize goods
