Code 301 noted on Initial inspection # 236535 of Jun-12-2019 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Preparation utensils stored on a prep. table (lower surface) had buildup of debris over them. Follow up inspection: -Code 308 was corrected walk-in cooler was at 2.4C. Upright cooler was at 3.3C (4C or less). -Code 311 was corrected. Drain plugs were available for the 2-compartment sink units. -Code 209 was corrected. Two ceiling tiles made of smooth washable materials were installed in the back kitchen. Preparation utensils were stored on a clean shelving unit. -Code 301 was corrected. Operator chose to voluntarily discard the soiled preparation utensils from the previous owner. Note: Operator mentioned they would obtain unexpired chlorine test strips. A permit fee cheque made to Fraser Health in the amount of $125.00 from the effective date (June 14, 2019) to March 31, 2020 for the current fiscal year was provided to the district E.H.O. of Fraser Health. Health approval to operate was granted from Fraser Health: This approval does not exempt you from obtaining approval from any other government agency.
