A routine inspection was completed:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -18C or colder; hot holding units 60C or hotter; thermometers present; and temps electronically recorded daily.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Quats sanitizer in spray bottles and for 3-comp ware washing had strength of 200ppm.
- All food stored in food grade containers; covered; labelled; date coded; foods stored in groups with proteins separate from RTE foods; and foods stored 6" off the floor on platforms, shelves or racks.
- Non-food items (toiletries, stationary, pet food, car accessories, etc.) stored separate and away from food items.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good. No signs of pests.
- All surfaces and equipment are in good working order, smooth, level, sealed and cleanable.
- Valid, FoodSafe certified staff present or possess an equivalent certificate.
- Valid food permit and decal posted.
ACTION
Lids and straws are starting to accumulate under machines and counter tops in the drink station areas. Have staff ensure the broom reaches all the way to the back wall so it sweeps all debris out from under the machines and counter tops on a daily basis. |
