Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

On the inspection date of December 19, 2022 there were 10 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee include no further action required and actions required the LO include no further action required. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. This inspection report was completed on site and a copy provided to the manager at the time of the inspection on the same day. Discussions took place regarding the following topics: Children's registration files accessibility Exemption in place reviewed Active Supervision Lead in the Water COVID-19 Preventative Practices Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
