All care categories were inspected during an unscheduled routine inspection to assess compliance w/: • the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA) • the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) • relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practices (DLSP)

Contraventions

Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #CGEE-BYQ2JF have been corrected.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.

Observed Violations

RECORDS AND REPORTING: 19160 - CCLR s.57(2)(i) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (i) a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency. Summary of FIR #CGEE-C6QT6V (10/Sep/2021) 1 violations was observed today, in which corrective action was taken during the inspection. Licensees & employees play a key role in protecting children from, & minimizing the impact of infection & illness. CCFL discussed hand washing, cleaning, & physical distancing as per the BC Centre for Disease Control & the BC Ministry of Health's "COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for Child Care Settings" (http://www.bccdc.ca/Health-Info-Site/Documents/COVID_public_guidance/Guidance_Child_Care.pdf). The inspection was reviewed w/ the licensee; however, this report & the Facility Risk Assessment Tool were written @ the Burnaby Health Protection office & emailed to the licensee on 10/Sep/2021.
