Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): An application for service addition and floor plan for adding a grocery pick-up service was recieved by the Health Protection team. The floor plan was approved by Environmental Health Officer. The grocery pick up area was in operation at the time of inspection. The grocery pick up area was built as per the approved floor plan. No issues with temperature nor food storage practices.

Routine inspection and COVID19 inspection were conducted with the store manager.

Routine inspection
Hand washing station was equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towel.
QUAT sanitizer bottles and dispenser was measured at 200 ppm as per test strips.
All the coolers were noted at or below 4C
All the freezers were noted at acceptable temperature
No signs of recent pest activity was present at the time of inspection. Routine pest control is conducted.
Temperature is measured manually and logged.
General sanitation is excellent.

COVID 19 inspection
COVID 19 safety plan is in place.
Multiple signs and posters regarding COVID19 safety were posted (e.g., physical distancing, do not enter if symptomatic, etc.)
Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance and encouraged to use.
Security staff keeps track of occupancy limit, and remind customers to wear mask before entering.
Maximum occupancy limit sign is posted.
Directional arrows available throughout the store.
Bulk food section is replaced with pre-packaged items.
Shopping carts and baskets are sanitized with QUAT after each use.
Physical distancing markers are available where applicable.
Plexiglasses are installed where applicable.
Common touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected 3 times/day
