Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Bush Red powder IH7802 and Lemon Yellow IH6592 observed in dry storage. Products are not approved for use in food.

2. Can of eggplant purree stored in tin in cooler. Product at lip of can has turned black.

Observation: Milk badam in unlabeled bottles observed in freezer. Operator stated this comes from Aarav Punjabi Kulfi. This location is not an approved dairy plant; product cannot be used/sold at restaurant.
Corrective Action(s): Product cannot be used. Please remove from restaurant or return to supplier.

Observation: Magnetic screen door observed to be installed at kitchen exit (loading bay door).
Screen does not close by itself nor reach the floor. Wooden board is placed at door, but gap is observed under board.
Corrective Action(s): Door needs to remain closed during operation, or pest-proof screen door needs to be installed. Current installation does not prevent the entry of pests.

Observation: Range hood filter observed to have heavy build up of grease. Staff stated it is washed once a month by staff. Based on oil dripping and colour of filters, they need to be cleaned more frequently. Grease build up may lead to fire hazard.
Corrective Action(s): Clean range hood filters more frequently (recommended 2x / month). Monitor to ensure filters are not overloaded. More frequent cleaning may be needed based on char and grease used in foods.

Storage:
All food items were stored at least 6" off the floor.
All products were either in original packaging or covered inside coolers.
Storage area was well-organized.
Chemicals and cleaners were stored separate from food preparation areas.

General:
No pest activity observed at time of inspection; professional pest control company contracted for biweekly visits
Kulfi (Malai, Pistacchio) observed in chest freezer. Operator stated this comes from Aarav Punjabi Kulfi.
Milk badam in unlabeled bottles observed in freezer. Operator stated this comes from Aarav Punjabi Kulfi.
