Observation: Rodent droppings were observed in the facility. Facility is currently serviced by a professional pest control operator on a monthly basis.
Corrective Action(s): Contact pest control and have facility serviced. Facility was last serviced on Jan 25, 2019. Pest control added bait stations and monitoring stations to the facility. To prevent infestation, ensure all potential entry points are sealed (plug holes with steel wool). store all foods in pest proof containers and off the floor, maintain good sanitation, and remove any unused equipment (potential harbourage sites for pests). Continue to monitor for pests.

Comments

-Minimal amounts of food stored on-site. Foods stored off the ground.
-Facility currently sells frozen samosas to customer, who warm up the foods off-site. Samosas stored in chest freezer at -24C.
-Walk-in cooler (dairy) was at 4C.
-Novelty freezer was at -35C.
*Three 1-L cartons or milk had a best before date of March 03, 2019. Ensure to rotate stock and remove items from shelving area, if they have passed their best before date.
-Facility is having flooring replaced late March.
