Observation: Some areas need require more cleaning (salad prep area, dishwashing area (especailly under the sink), and garbage disposal area.
Corrective Action(s): Thoroughly clean theses areas and power wash garbage disposal area.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Dishwasher chlorine tab feeder was jammed at time of inspection. Chlorine residual at 0 ppm (plate surface).
Corrective Action(s): Service tech was contacted and scheduled to come to address issue. For the mean time, manually sanitize all dish wares in the 3 comp sink until dishwasher is repaired.

Observation: Flooring in the dry storage area still to be re-done. Renovations for the store has been put on hold.

Sanitizer for storing wiping cloths measured 100 ppm chlorine.
Quats sanitizer in spray bottles at 200 ppm
Hydrogen peroxide - used for non-food contact surfaces (test strips available)
Walk-in coolers were at or below 4 deg C.
Walk-in freezer was at -22 deg C.
Line coolers were at or below 4 deg C.
Line freezers were at -5 to -10 deg C.
Hot holding for eggs, bacon, sausages was above 60 deg C.
Temperature log was available and up to date.
Staff -clean uniforms and hair restraint
No signs of pests noted at time of inspection.
Pest control monitoring in place
General sanitation was satisfactory but some areas can be improved.
Staff washrooms and public washrooms were in sanitary condition and provided with sanitary supplies.
