Code 205 noted on Routine inspection # TGIL-CDNRZH of Apr-20-2022 Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)] Observation: 79 cartons of free range eggs (one carton has 30 eggs) were stored at room temperature on the shelves. Internal temperature of egg was measured at 17.5C. Cold potentially hazardous food such as eggs must be stored at a temperature of 4C or less. Correction: Eggs are HELD in storage room for 1 day. A follow up inspection to be conducted on April 21, 2022. See violation 208 for details.

Follow-up inspection conducted to routine inspection (report #TGIL-CDNRZH) and the following observations were made: - As per the operator, free range egg crates (x79) have been returned to the supplier. - Communication details were provided for verification. - No free range eggs were found on site for selling. Note: Please be advised that the 79 crates of eggs held yesterday during inspection were found at an internal temperature of 17.5C (above 4C for more than 2 hours) and are NOT SAFE for human consumption due to the risk of potential food contamination and foodborne illness. Always buy food products from an approved supplier. In future, if similar issues are observed by the district EHO, enforcement action will be taken.
