Follow-up to inspection report #NTRG-BBJVL4 and follow-up inspection report #NTRG-BCPVKS:

Code 209: Corrected items 1 and 2 from first report. Item 3 still pending correction. Staff mentioned that the scoops for each bulk food bin will be provided by tonight.

Code 304: Still pending correction. No sightings of mice or droppings at time of inspection. However, there was a complaint received by a customer that a mouse was sighted inside the premises. Operator to send weekly pest control reports to EHO's email provided.

Code 305: Pending: A small gap observed at the bottom between the two double doors at the front was seen. Install something to the door to cover the gap to prevent entrance of pests.
Corrected: The clutter behind the chest freezers at the back were removed. Hard plastic bins were provided for majority of the food items. The bottom shelves near the bulk food area still had food items that must be placed into hard plastic bins with lid. The wooden enclosures for rice bags were provided (plywood was painted). Ensure to cover the front opening during off hours after closing.

There was a major improvement in sanitation, protection of food from contamination, pest control, prevention of conditions that may lead to entrance or harbouring of pests. The premises may remain open. However, the remaining pending items must be completed by June 6th, 2019.
