Observation: Rodent droppings noted in the following areas:
-along wine production rack wall (around paint cans stored on the ground)
-leading to and in the staff washroom
-back workshop area black cabinet
Several traps noted throughout the facility, all inspected traps were empty.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the above noted areas using a 100ppm chlorine bleach solution. Routinely clean and check hard to reach areas for rodent activity.

Observation: Large door gap noted underneath front entrance door, concrete and floor is found to be uneven, preventing the installation of a door sweep
Corrective Action(s): Repair the front door frame by raising the door frame "step" to meet the bottom of the door and provide a seal to prevent pest entry.

Comments

-Front area handsink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels. Back area handsink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and hot/cold running water
-Iodophor solution no longer being used as pump for sanitizing unit has failed. Operator has switched to potassium metabisulfite and "1Step" u-vin and u-brew no-rinse sanitizer. Follow manufacturer's mixing instructions. Area EHO to check if product is approved for use in u-vin and u-brew applications
-General sanitation satisfactory with the exception of the above noted violations
-TSP/bleach solution made as required for sanitizing surfaces and equipment
