Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on April 27, 2022, alleging concerns related to care and supervision.

The following details were provided:
- There is a lack of supervision
- The Licensee hit a child on the cheek

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Licensing conducted interviews and reviewed facility records.
Licensing determined the following contraventions related to:
-Play Area, materials and equipment - CCLR Section 16(3)(a)
- Continuous Supervision required - CCLR Section 39(1)
- Records for each child - CCLR Section 57(1)(a)

11160 - CCLR s.16(3)(a)A licensee must ensure that the entire outdoor play area is (a) enclosed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and will ensure that children are free of harm.
Observation: Children playing in the front yard of the facility that is not approved and not fenced.
Corrective action: Corrective action required.
14060 - CCLR s.39(1)A licensee must ensure that children are supervised at all times by a person who is an educator, an assistant or a responsible adult.
Observation: School age children were playing in the front yard unsupervised for approximately 5-6 minutes
