Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing received a complaint on October 19, 2023 regarding care and supervision.  
 
All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews, documentation and a digital recording. 
 
Licensing confirmed staff used inappropriate guidance strategies when she raised her voice and pulled a child. In addition, the staff was missing a criminal record check.  
 
The following contravention to the Child Care Licensing Regulation were determined:  
- CCLR section 51 (1) (a), Behavioural Guidance  
- CCLR Section19 (1) (a), Staffing

Observation: A staff did not have a valid criminal record check onsite
