-handsink at bar covered up with a tray of dirty glasses
-handsink next to steamer in kitchen completely blocked off with equipment
-handsink in dishpit area blocked off with pots & pans
Corrective Action(s): Handwash sinks must be always accessible and not blocked off, properly stocked with paper towels, pumped soap, hot/cold water

Observation: Duck Blood menu item observed. A tray observed in the display cooler

Corrective Action(s): Item placed on Hold -do not remove/retail from the premises. Operator to submit the source of this ingredient -invoices/receipts

Duck blood is not approved for sale in BC as there is no approved manufacturer.
You are to remove this menu item and submit the new menu

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: -Large amount of condensation buildup is occurring above the cooking line grill area -coming from the steamer and possibly a result from the electric fan affixed to the exhaust vents (to be removed). The condensations is causing water drips all over the grill and cooking area
-Observed pooling of raw eggs in fridge.
Corrective Action(s): -operator is to cease all food preparation under where the condensation and drips are occurring. A solution is needed what is causing the condensation buildup and drips

-No pooling of raw eggs allowed -once the egg is cracked open it must be cooked immediately -provided operator with links to document BCCDC Pooling of Eggs

Observation: Operator has a set of dishware (cups, saucers, bowls, serving plates) that are deteriorating to the point of metal/rust showing underneath
Corrective Action(s): These are no longer cleanable dishware -remove all the plateware from circulation

Observation: Operator has altered items on the premise without approval:
-a domestic cooking range has been added at the end of the cooking line -used for frying such as dim sum
-some sort of electric fan has been affixed to the exhaust hoods -it is all grease laiden and a possible electric short may occur
-a large mobile grill has been added under the cooking line
Corrective Action(s): Do not make structural/equipment changes without Health Approval

-The domestic cooking range must be under the exhaust hood -the hood will need to be extended. Cease it's use until the hood is extended
-Remove the electric fan affixed to the exhaust hoods
-Submit Manufacturer Specifications of the large mobile grill -it must be meet NSF standards or equivalent
