Follow-up inspection conducted to report #JMAA-B74VZ2. Facility manager has complied with all requirements. -All floors around cafeteria and equipment rooms have been equipped with a secure plastic baseboard cover. -Some remaining ants noted underneath clock area of cafeteria, which were removed at time of inspection. -Equipment room has been de-cluttered. All unnecessary items have been removed from the area. -No visible signs of recent rodent activity noted at time of inspection at cafeteria or equipment rooms. -Back doors of the lobby area have been fitted with a metal plate to cover the 1/4" air gap between the doors - very good. -1/4" air gap underneath door of equipment room has been addressed by installing a wooden block underneath the door. Further recommendations: -continue to work with your professional pest control company to monitor for rodent activity. -Any smaller cracks and crevices may be sealed with foam/caulking. A mesh may also be placed over cracks, once sealed, to prevent pests from chewing through. -Do not directly apply liquid ant bait in food preparation areas or areas where children play.
