Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Three wiping cloths were left lying on surfaces (prep. table surface and counter surface near the ice bin) in the front service area.
Corrective Action(s): Make sure wiping cloths are kept immersed in 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer between use.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Food contents were being stored in an open metal can, which should not be done as oxygen can react with the container and chemicals could potentially leach into the food over time.
Corrective Action(s): Make sure the contents of open metal cans are immediately transferred into durable food grade containers with tight fitting lids. Operator transferred the contents into a food container.

Comments

Permit to operate was posted in a conspicuous location.
Handsink in the front and back area were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Upright cooler was at 3.7 degrees C (4 degrees C or less).
Prep. cooler was at -1.2 degrees C at the bottom and at 3 degrees C at the top component (at or below 4 degrees C).
Freezer temperature was satisfactory.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available inside a bucket below the warewashing sink in the back area and in a bucket in the front area.
No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
Pest control company provides a service every two weeks according to the Owner/Operator.
Ice machine was in a clean condition at the time of inspection.
Hard-to-reach corners, the floor, food storage areas, and the ventilation hood were in a relatively clean condition.
Only single-service utensils are used on-site.
Owner/Operator had a FOODSAFE Level 1 refresher course certificate valid until April 8, 2023.
