A routine inspection was completed, the following observations were made:
- Coolers below 4C; freezers below -18C; and thermometers present.
- Hot drinks (coffee & hot chocolate) being dispensed and served from a machine (powder mix), and specialty dessert being made, cooked, and sold on-site.
- Specialty, seasonal (Easter time), "meat loaf" is made in house, and then transported to local restaurant in New Westminster (Brucheria Day and Night) for cooking in ovens. It is cooled, transported back to premises, packaged, and stored in cooler until sold.
- All foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves and racks; foods stored in groups with meats separate from other foods; and foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labeled; and date coded.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- Valid FoodSafe certified staff present, owner and baker have certificate and expiration in 2025.
- General sanitation level is excellent. No signs of pests.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottle had [Cl2] of 200ppm.
- 3-comp sink present for dishwashing in food processing area.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- All in order. |
