Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). The following areas were reviewed for compliance:

· Physical facility
· Health and hygiene

Previous Inspection -
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

There were three staff and five children present in the under 36 months program, one staff and two children in the school age program and one staff and two children in the 30 months to school age program.

At this inspection, no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.

The following was discussed:

· COVID-19 prevention strategies
· Staffing
· Essential service workers registrations

The information contained in the report was discussed with the manager and the report and risk assessment were written off-site. Licensing advised that copies of the report and risk assessment would be emailed to the facility. Licensing provided a resource package containing information around COVID-19 prevention.

A follow-up inspection may be completed at a later date.
