Observation: Handsink in the bar has not been repaired yet to supply a sufficient amount of hot running water. Operator stated that they will look for a faucet today and call a plumber to make repairs if they are unable to make the correction themselves. Correct today.
Corrective Action(s): Repair the handsink so that is supplied with a greater supply of hot running water at the handsink; Correct by August 22, 2019. In the meanwhile, use the other sink next to the glasswasher (where drinks are emptied normally) as a temporary handsink. Liquid soap, paper towels, and hot and cold running water was available at this sink.

Observation: Most of the rodent droppings were removed. A small amount was present in one corner of the dry storage room and a small amount near the hot water tank.
Corrective Action(s): Disinfect the affected areas and remove all of the rodent droppings; Correct today. Monitor for signs of recent pest activity and continue with pest control measures. Provide a copy of your next pest control report to the district EHO of Fraser Health once a service is conducted.

Follow up inspection:

Dishwasher:
-Dishwasher was re-serviced, drained, and a new sanitizer bottle was supplied.
-Dishwasher final rinse chlorine sanitizer residual was at least 50 ppm at the plate.
-Operator had chlorine test strips on-site.
*Make sure the dishwasher final rinse chlorine sanitizer residual is monitored on at least a daily basis and dispenses at least 50 ppm chlorine sanitizer at the plate after the final rinse cycle.

Dry storage room:
-Cleaning improvements were made to the dry storage room.
-Extra plates were placed through the dishwasher, air dried, and then placed in a pest-proof covered container.
-Equipment was stored on shelving units rather than the floor.
-Extra chairs were organized to the side of this room.
-A hole was sealed in this room.

Glasswasher:
-Operator stated that they have ordered iodine test strips and are waiting for their chemical supplier to provide them.

Note: Operator showed that they had QUATS test strips on-site as well.
