Observation: 1. The glass cover on the cheese thermometer is cracked and requires replacement. Do not use this unit to prevent contamination of broken glass in food storage area (CORRECTED AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION).
2. Sealed tubs of food stored directly on the ground in walk in cooler. The ground is dirty/contaminated (CORRECTED AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION).
3. A plastic garbage bin is used to store bulk foods in walk in cooler. This container is not of food grade material.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Do not use the broken glass thermometer to prevent broken glass from falling into the food. Replace this unit. Correction required today.
2. Do not store food or food containters directly on the ground as it is dirty/contaminated. Even if they are in sealed tubs, store food at least 15 cm off the ground on dedicated shelving.
3. The plastic garbage can cannot be used to store food. Use alternatively a food grade container or one of the Rubbermaid containers intended for food storage. Correction required today.

Premise is sanitary.
No signs of pests at the time of inspection.
Hot and cold water available.
Dedicated hand sinks with liquid soap and paper towels available.
Staff demonstrate good personal hygiene and sanitary hand washing.
Temperature holding is adequate and in use with accurate thermometers and logs update to date to November 30 - very good.
Take out containers and utensils are sanitary.
3-compartment sink in use. Chlorine solution at 200 ppm sanitizer in use.
Staff washroom is sanitary with fully stocked hand sink.
Valid Permit posted in conspicuous location.

Holding units:
Coolers at 4C and below. Freezers at -18C and below.
Hot holding not in use at the time of inspection.
Slurpie drinks unit not in use.

Recommendation: Ensure paper dispenser mounts are kept in good repair, the staff washroom one is cracked.
Ensure all hand washing station have paper towels and liquid soap.
It is acceptable to have it the soap or paper towels on the side as long as it is accessible by staff.
