Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During time of inspection, 5 gallon bucket of beige colored gravy was found to be mouldy on top

Observation: During time of inspection, walk in cooler was measuring at 7C
Staff on-site informed that walk-in cooler door was open very frequently
Staff called service tech for walk-in cooler and that service tech will arrive in 30 minutes
Corrective Action(s): - Walk in cooler MUST be at 4C or below at all times, cold holding foods at 4C or below
- Ensure to close walk-in cooler door when not in use
- Monitor walk-in cooler temperature frequently

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During time of inspection, no liquid soap was available in staff washroom

Corrective Action(s): ALL handwashing stations must be equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels at ALL times to facilitate in frequent and proper handwashing

Observation: During time of inspection, food products in walk-in cooler (i.e., curries/ gravies) were not observed to be kept protected from contamination, such as being covered with lids or food-grade plastic wrap
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that ALL food products are covered and protected from contamination at ALL times

Observation: During time of inspection, the following observations were made:
Moderate - heavy food debris and spillage observed
1) on common touch area such as doors and handles
2) on wall surfaces and equipment walls
3) underneath equipment throughout facility
4) underneath, between and on shelving throughout premises including walk-in cooler
5) flour storage room
6) utensil storage room
Corrective Action(s): - Ensure the above mentioned are all wiped down, cleaned and sanitized thoroughly
- Ensure a DEEP CLEANING is done through the facility and that it continues to be maintained

Routine inspection conducted.
- All handwashing stations equipped with hot/cold running water liquid soap and paper towels (except for above noted infraction)
* Chest freezers at -18C
- Chlorine sanitizer solution available in spray bottle, concentration at 200ppm
- Low temperature dishwasher available, concentration of chlorine residual at final rinse at 50ppm
- No evidence of pests detected during time of inspection
- General sanitation of facility - requires improvement
