Routine inspection conducted. The following observations were made.
Food from potentially unapproved source: Vanshi Foods Ltd. Product (vermicelli) stated it was imported. Product did not appear to have proper labelling.
Company name not found on Canadian Food Inspection Agency's Safe Food for Canadians Act registry.
Products held by inspector at time of inspection. Importer asked inspector to reach out to provide certificate.

Adjust unit and monitor to ensure unit can maintain temperatures of 4°C or less
Sanitation:
Handwash stations equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
Mechanical (low temperature) dishwasher measured 50ppm chlorine.
Sanitizer in pail measured 100ppm chlorine.
Range hood recently professionally cleaned.
Storage:
Food stored in restaurant facility by end of inspection.
All food stored at least 6" off floor.
Chemicals and cleaners stored separate from food & food preparation areas.
General:

Pest control company contracted Kwality Pest Control, monthly visits.
