Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No hot water available for facility. Staff had advised the relocation of the propane pumps yesterday had resulted in disconnection of the hot water since this morning.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to have the hot water reconnected and contact the health inspector.

Hot water is now available.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No hot water available at the handwash station. Papertowel stuck in the dispenser.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure handwash station is adequately supplied with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and papertowels at all times.

Hot water now available. Handwash station now adequately supplied.

Observation: Better organization and cleaning required for the back storage area.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to reorganize the area. Remove all dust and food debris on floor and surfaces in between equipment.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted:

-Refrigeration temperatures within requirement; Hot-holding temperatures within requirement.
-100-200ppm chlorine solution available in a bucket to hold wiping cloths.
-Low temperature dishwasher achieved >50ppm chlorine at the plate level after final rinse.
NOTE: No dishwashing was done since this morning. All dirty dishes were collected in the dishwashing sink.
NOTE: Staff were using hot water from the coffee machine.
-No evidence of pest activity observed.

Staffs were informed to stop accepting new customers/orders and Closure Order was prepared to be issued. Facility manager and technician came during the inspection and reconnected hot water. OK. Closure Order was not issued at this time.

Facility should not be in operation without hot water. If there is no hot water available for the facility, ensure to close the facility and contact the health inspector to notify.
