Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Handsink in the washroom was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and a hand air dryer.
Staff were observed washing their hands properly.
Walk-in-cooler and other refrigeration units were at or below 4 degrees C.
Walk-in-freezer and other freezer units were at or below -18 degrees C.
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
Food storage areas were clean and organized.
Fan covers appeared clean in the walk-in-cooler and walk-in-freezer.
Hot-held food was at or above 60 degrees C.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available in both labelled spray bottles in the front service area and in the labelled spray bottle in the back area.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available from the dispenser at the 3-compartment sink.
3-compartment sink was supplied with hot and cold running water. Three sink plugs were available.
Prep. sink was operational.
Ventilation hood was in a clean condition.
Vegetable chopper was in a clean condition.
No signs of recent pest activity was evident at the time of inspection.
Manager on shift had valid FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent course training (SafeCheck Advanced Food Safety - Canadian Food Safety Group, expiration date: February 24, 2024) .
