Observation: There is evidence of rodent activity in the staff washroom and dry food storage areas (droppings noted on the floor). Food in the dry food storage area is in rodent proof bins. Pest control monitoring is in place.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately, check all food storage containers and confirm that there has been no food contamination. If any food is contaminated, discard food. Seal all holes where rodents or pests may enter. Consult with your licenced pest control company and take action so that the kitchen and premises is free of pests. Clean up all droppings and continue with monitoring for pests. Follow a pest management program.

Coolers are at 4 C or colder with the exception of the glass door cooler that is only used to store low risk foods.
Hot holding - rice, sauces, etc. - are at 60 C or hotter.
Garlic and oil is being stored in the cooler.
Eggs are stored in the cooler.
Hand washing stations have liquid soap and paper towels in dispensers.
Bleach is available for sanitizing work and food contact surfaces.
Commercial dishwasher has a final sanitizing rinse (50ppm detected after final rinse).
Staff on site has taken the Food Safe refresher course. Owner is aware of Refresher expiry date.
