File update via email from operator.
- Contract to use the commercial kitchen at 6333 Market Avenue Delta is still in place.
- Business has not been in operation recently but will re-open with same menu, food safety plan, and sanitation plan procedures.
- This includes the preparation, cooking, cooling, and packaging of ready to eat cooked meals. These are then stored frozen (or refrigerated) at the commercial kitchen to be delivered directly to customers for customers to reheat at home.
- Notify Fraser Health when you have a new schedule for use of the commercial kitchen or if there are any changes to your operation. If providing meals for immediate consumption a Permit Fee is required.
-Food must be dated and ingredient/contact business information provided to customer. See Canadian Food Inspection Agency for labelling requirements, including best before dates, etc.
-Operator has a valid equivalent for Food Safe Certificate (exp. 2028).
-Use metal stemmed probe thermometer to verify temperatures and keep temperature records.
