Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff cell phone and ear buds were stored in a utensils tray, in direct contact with metal forks.
Corrective Action(s): Cell phones cannot be stored on food contact surfaces or with utensils. Cell phones are dirty and will contaminate equipment and food contact surfaces. Forks were washed and sanitized at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Two containers of raw chicken were stored above samosa filling in the walk-in cooler.
2) Scoop cup was stored in yogurt with handle covered in yogurt
Corrective Action(s): 1) Ensure raw meats are stored below ready-to-eat foods to prevent potential contamination of foods. Cooler was re-organized at the time of inspection.
2) Ensure all scoops are stored in a sanitary manner to prevent potential contamination of foods. Either scoops must be stored outside the container or another sanitary manner. Scoop was removed from the yogurt at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One of the bleach sanitizer bottles was unlabelled.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all chemicals are properly labelled to prevent accidental mixing or misuse of chemicals. Sanitizer bottle was labelled at the time of inspection. Once labels fade/wear off or the sanitizer bottle is changed, relabel the containers.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -17C.
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Upright cooler (kitchen) was at 4C.
-Front sweets cooler was at 4C (make sure staff close the doors properly).
-Chest freezer was at -15C.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 50ppm chlorine on the dish surface (minimum 50ppm required for proper sanitizing).
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer spray bottles both at 100ppm.
-Vegetable cutter was found to be clean and sanitary.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and well maintained.
-Operator FoodSafe Level 1 valid until December 04, 2020.
