A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Cooler 4C or colder; freezers -18C or colder; and thermometers present.
- 2-comp sink had liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water. Bleach present for sanitizing.
- All foods stored 6" off the floor on platforms or shelves. Non-foods (cleaners, pet foods, personal hygiene products, etc.) stored separately from foods.
- General sanitation is good. Ensure all food items (packages, boxes, cans) on shelves are dusted daily, and retail shelves are wiped cleaned weekly to remove dust and spills.
- No signs of pests.
- No expired foods for sale.
- Slushie machine not in use during inspection, operation only during summer.
- Bulk candy area had tongs and individual bags. |
