Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
2-compartment sink adjacent to the dishwasher was supplied with hot and cold running water and it was equipped with drain plugs.
Dishwasher final rinse temperature was 78.2 degrees C (71 degrees C or hotter) at the plate level.
Double compartment sink in the front service area was supplied with hot and cold running water.
Refrigeration units were at or below 4 degrees C and were equipped with thermometers.
Freezers were maintaining temperatures at or below -18 degrees C and were equipped with thermometers.
Written temperature log was in place for the upright freezer in the back area.
Food was covered inside the refrigeration units.
Ice machine was in a clean condition and scoop was stored separately.
In-use utensils (e.g. scoops, jugs) are rotated and washed, rinsed, sanitized, and air dried every 4 hours between use and after final use each day as per Operator.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available.
Note: Please obtain the chlorine test strips to monitor that the chlorine sanitizer is maintained at 100 ppm in the food service establishment.
Stera-sheen chlorine sanitizer was available on-site to sanitize the interior surfaces of the gelato maker with 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer.
No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of inspection.
Permit to operate was hand delivered and provided to the Operator. Please ensure it is posted in a conspicuous location at the food service establishment.
