Hand wash station in front service area had soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water. Clog has been fixed so the basin drains properly.
Hand soap and paper towel at 3 compartment sink in back area.
All coolers 4⁰C or less (under counter in front area, domestic refrigerator in the back, inserts above freezer units for cream and scoops)
Freezers less than -18C or less.
Premises does not hot hold any perishable foods. Only sweet toppings for icecreams (ie. caramel, chocolate..etc)
Good general sanitation.No obvious sign of pest infestation noted at time of inspection.
Back door was closed at time of inspection. Operator has monthly contract with pest control company. Follow all recommendations made by technician.
Ice machine appeared clean with scoop for ice stored outside of the ice in a separate container.
3 drain plugs available for 3 compartment sink.
Dipper well for scoops has been fixed and is functional.
Chlorine in container with cloth submerged 100ppm.
High temperature dish washer achieved 71⁰C (with thermolabel).
All stored foods appeared protected (ie. stored off the ground, covered..etc)
** Operator to install light cover/sleeves over exposed lights in the back dishwashing/dry storage area - to be done by next routine inspection.
