Ice Rink Concession is currently closed and there are no plans for use for the remainder of this season.
Permit fee is $87.50 per year. This is a seasonal food service establishment that is permitted to operate from September to March.
Notify Fraser Health if you no longer wish to have this kitchen permitted.
When in use, menu includes, hot and cold beverages (slurpees, coffee, etc.), popcorn, chips, hot dogs, etc.
Kitchen has a hand washing station with hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
Fridge temperature is 3.8 C today (4 C or colder required) - good.
Double sink is available with hot/cold water.
Pest control monitoring is in place (contract is monthly).
When open:
- At least on person per shift (ie person in charge) would require a valid Food Safe level 1 certificate.
- Hot dogs to be heated to 74 C/ 165 F.
- Provide an accurate fridge thermometer to verify temperature.
- Sanitizer (such as quats sanitizer 200ppm or chlorine sanitizer 100ppm / 1 tsp plain domestic bleach per liter of water) required to sanitize food contact surfaces and utensils.
- Single use /disposable cups and plates required for customer food.
- Clean regularly.
***Recommend that the wooden edges of the counter and cupboards be sealed to facilitate cleaning prior to re-opening (ie minor touch ups).
***Any future renovations may require Fraser Health approval (floor plans). Contact undersigned if you have any questions.
