Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer was available to sanitize food contact surfaces.
Corrective Action(s): The operator prepared a new sanitzier solution with bleach at the time of inspection. Ensure that sanitizer is available throughout the operation.

Observation: 1. Observed frozen food stored in black garbage bag in the chest freezer. Garbage bags have odour suppressants and may leach chemicals into foods.
2. Observed open bags of rice in the dry storage area.
3. Observed dust accumulation on the ceiling and on the racks where utensils were stored.
4. Ice scoops were stored inside ice machines, allowing the handle of the ice scoops to contact the ice.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Do not store foods in garbage bags. Transfer the food immediately to food-grade containers/bags.
2. Store rice, flour, grains in pest-proof containers with tight fitting lids to prevent pest attraction.
3. The ceiling and the racks where dust accumulation is noted shall be cleaned up. DATE TO BE CORRECTED BY: July 19th 2018
4. Ice scoops shall be stored in a separate container.

- The facility is equipped with hot & cold running water
- Handsinks are stocked
- High temperature dishwasher reached >71C at plate's surface
- Temperatures of all refrigeration units are adequate (<4C coolers, <-18C freezers)
- Rice stored in hot holding unit measured >60C
- The fish tank measured 12C & is maintained in a sanitary manner
- Foods are stored off of floor, well-organized in the walk-in cooler. Raw chicken stored away from other foods.
- Abalone shells are collected, washed in the dishwasher and used to serve 'Abalone BBQ' once only.
- Ice machines are maintained in a sanitary manner
- The owner and some staff have FOODSAFE training
