Comments

Follow up inspection was conducted in response to a reported power outage in the 9000 block near 152 street Surrey B.C possibly in relation to a fire at a nearby food service establishment. Power outage was reported to occur in the area on April 11, 2019 from approximately 5:10 AM to 8:52 AM.

Inspection comments:
-Operator stated that they arrived at the restaurant on April 11, 2019 at 12 PM and stated this pizza facility had electrical power when they arrived yesterday. They stated that one light however was out when they arrived on-site.
-They stated that food and refrigeration temperatures were at or below 4 degrees C and they did not notice any problems with food temperatures.
-A temperature log was not available on-site. Recommended: Maintain temperature records of refrigeration units at least on a daily basis. Required: Monitor refrigeration temperatures every 2 hours throughout the day to ensure they are maintained at or below 4 degrees C. Refer to your approved food safety plan for details.
-Cooler and freezer temperatures were satisfactory at the time of inspection.
-Pizza toppings were at or below 4 degrees C in the prep. cooler at the time of inspection. Food temperatures in the walk-in-cooler were at or below 4 degrees C at the time of the inspection.
-Handsinks were supplied with hot and cold running water at the time of inspection.
