Observation: At the time of inspection, operator was not on site. None of the staff on duty had FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate or equivalent. Operator came later during the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that in operator's absence, at least one staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.

Temperature (coolers to be maintained at 4C or less, freezers at -18C or less, hot holding at 60C or above):
- Walk- in cooler recorded at 4C.
- Prep cooler at 4C
- Sweet display cooler at 3C
- Operator stated that the sweets (potentially hazardous food) stored at room temperature are time tracked and do not exceed more than 4hrs at room temperature.
Ensure that the logs are maintained and kept up to date for verification by the district EHO.
- Stand up freezer at -18C
- Temperature logs were maintained and found up-to-date.

Storage:
- All food items were stored at least 6" off the floor.
- All food products were found either in original packaging or covered inside coolers.
- Chemicals and cleaners were stored separate from food preparation areas.

Sanitation & Maintenance:
- Hand wash station was adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels.
- 200ppm bleach buckets present in the food prep area.
- 3 compartment sink used for manual warewashing. 200ppm bleach recorded in the 3rd sink.
- Washroom was maintained in good sanitary condition.
- Vents have been cleaned and found in good sanitary condition.
- Improvement noted in terms of general sanitation.

- Professional pest control company conducts routine checks.
- Mechanical traps were present throughout the facility.

Administrative:
- Operating permit was posted in a conspicuous location.
- Operator has valid FoodSafe Level 1 certificate.
