205 - Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The sandwich prep cooler was malfunctioning, with an ambient air temperature of 18.8C, during the inspection. This cooler was holding cold potentially hazardous food products well above 4.0C. As per Store Manager, temperature of this cooler unit was checked this morning at 8 AM and unit was running under 4.0C. However, it's been more than 3 hours at the time of inspection from when the unit was checked for temperature.
Corrective Action(s): **Issues corrected at the time of inspection**
All cold potentially hazardous food products (ranging with an internal temperature from 16.0C - 18.6C) from this sandwich prep cooler was discarded by staff. The following items from the top cooler line were discarded: Containers of sliced tomatoes (x 2), cream cheese, sliced cheeses (x2), shredded cheese, lettuce, ham (x3) and greek salad. 2 larger trays of sliced cheese were discarded from within the cooler unit.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Blow dryers for hands were malfunctioning in all three customer washrooms. No alternative hand drying devices were available by these handwash stations during the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): **Issue corrected at the time of inspection** Manager had staff placed paper towels by all three handwash stations as a mean for drying hands after handwashing for the time being. Fix the blow dryers or install proper paper towel dispensers by these handwash stations as a long-term solution.
