Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Chemical dishwasher had no detectable chlorine sanitizer on the dish surface during the final cycle. Container of chlorine was empty.
Corrective Action(s): Chemical dishwasher must be able to provide a minimum of 50ppm chlorine on the dish surface during the final rinse to properly sanitize equipment and utensils. Chlorine container was changed, dishwasher was primed and tested at 50ppm. Operator in the process of washing and sanitizing equipment and utensils.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Female washroom handwash station did not have single use paper towels.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must be adequately supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Paper towels were replaced at the time of inspection.

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: 1) Evaporated milk was stored in an opened metal can (from two days ago).
2) Containers of food were double stacked on top of one another without proper protection.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Once canned foods are opened, the contents must be transferred to food grade containers to prevent potential contamination. Can of milk was discarded at the time of inspection.
2) Discontinue the practice of double stacking foods without proper protection between containers (lids, plastic wrap, etc) to prevent potential contamination of foods.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Rodent droppings were found along the storage hallway and the front bubble tea area.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize all areas affected by rodent droppings and monitor for pest activity. Contact a pest control operator to mitigate the pest infestation.

-Walk-in cooler was at 2C.
-Kitchen prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Bubble tea area prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Kitchen chest freezer was at -18C.
-Hallway area chest freezers were at -23C.
-Food items were reheated on the stove rapidly to greater than 74C.
-Kitchen and bubble tea area handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Blender containers washed and sanitized with bleach after each use.
-Bleach sanitizer spray bottle was at 200ppm.
-Ice machine was clean and well maintained.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until March 29, 2026.
