Comments

-General sanitation is satisfactory
-Handsinks supplied with liquid soap and paper towel
-All coolers were 4C or colder
-Freezers were functioning
-Raw meat stored in separate cooler from ready to eat items.
-All food in coolers was stored in a manner to prevent contamination. ie. wrapped or covered.
*Ensure any food items on front counter/service are are wrapped/packaged if not in display case or display cooler to prevent contamination by customers. Otherwise sneezeguard will need to be added. At the time of the inspection, bread which was packaged in bags was on display for sale which is acceptable.
-Wiping cloths stored in buckets of quats sanitizer (200ppm)
-High temperature dishwasher met sanitizing requirements. Final rinse was 78C at the dish surface as measured with min/max thermometer
-No signs of pest activity at the time of the inspection. Operator reported pest control contract is being finalized and will be monthly service.
-New menu submitted. Brunch platters have been added and sandwich types have changed; however, there are now less varieties. Waffles have also been added. Overall, there was no increase in food items being served. As per above FSP need to be updated. In future, submit proposed menu changes and FSP in advance for review and approval.
-As per initial inspection, stainless back splash was added on wall behind handsink and sealed wood on the wall beneath the counter so that the surface is now smooth and washable. This should be extended to portion of wall immediately beside counter to the door which enters the kitchen so that it washable as well.
