Follow up visit in response to a customer complaint about seeing rats in the loading bay area. Discussed the complaint with the Store Manager and inspected the area on the periphery of the store including loading bay and garbage collection areas behind the store. -The rat burrows on the west side of the store have been filled in. Shrubbery and tall grass around the perimeter has been mowed. -Ecolab is now looking after the pest control services for the store. -It was noticed that several new baiting stations have been placed along the perimeter of the building especially near the loading bays and garbage collection areas. -The drains near the compactors have bee sealed with wire mesh to prevent rodent's access to water. -Plans are in progress to cover the remaining burrows on the back of the building. - According to the Ecolab technician onsite, significant decline has been noticed in rodent numbers for the past two weeks. Ensure to restrict or eliminate rodent access to organic compacters. Please continue to take stringent efforts to control rodents in the coming weeks and months
