Hand sinks are supplied with liquid soap and paper towels in dispensers. Church kitchen is available for rent for commercial purposes and church member led food events. Children's camp during the summer time, cooking classes and meals for children. Night Shift dinners weekly for those in need in the community. Village Church Langley South operates small coffee bar on Sundays. Fridges <4C. Freezers <-18C. No signs of pests at the time of inspection. All equipment and surfaces appear to be in clean condition and good repair. All food is covered and protected from contamination. Dishwasher was not heating in time for testing. Follow up scheduled for tomorrow for dishwasher. Sanitizing: Operators are using 2 types of Quat based compounds. One at 400ppm, another at 300ppm. Pursue is used to spray and wipe surfaces, Ostra-san is sprayed on same surface and left on for 10min. Both have same active ingredient, both instructions say to rinse with water after use on food contact surfaces. Recommend to review and update your Sanitation Plan and to follow instructions as labelled on the bottles. Accelerated Hydrogen peroxide wipes also available for non-food contact surfaces, general cleaning.
