Routine inspection. The metal detector and the x-ray for detecting foreign objects on two lines passed the tests. Walk-in cooler is for storage of tortillas and freezer is for juice flavoring. There are no potentially hazardous ingredients used in the process. No concerns noted with workers hygiene. Warm water was available at the handwashing stations in the production area, and the two entrances into the area. Hypochlorite is used for sanitizing food contact surfaces (CIP). General maintenance in the production area and in the warehouse is good. No obvious signs of rodents noted. Pest control service is provided. Concern is noted with the condition of the wet garage disposal area. Decomposing food waste is covering the top of the bin and the lid is left open. Operator reported that the power washer which is used for cleaning the area is broken and another is being ordered. Please clean the area as soon as possible.
