Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Deli slicer had dried on food debris. Purse and phone stored on slicer.
Corrective Action(s): Phone/purse removed, slicer washed and sanitized at time of inspection. Ensure all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized after each use, and stored in sanitary condition to limit potential contamination of food. Store personal items in designated area.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back door slightly open during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Back door was properly closed. Ensure back door remains fully closed when not in use to limit potential entry of pests. Note: Back door is difficult to close without some effort; have back door repaired as necessary.

Observation: Refrigeration units are not equipped with accurate thermometers.
Corrective Action(s): Provide thermometers accurate to 1 degree C for all refrigeration units to effectively monitor unit temperatures. Date to be corrected by: August 14, 2023.

Coolers at 4 degrees C or less.
Freezers at -16 to -18 degrees C.
Final cooking temperature (internal food temperature) measured over 74 degrees C. Probe thermometer on site.
Note: Donair machine not in use at time of inspection (no donair cooking today). Reviewed donair practices and secondary cook step procedures.
Hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels in place at hand washing stations for hand washing (kitchen, washroom).
Warewashing sinks supplied with hot and cold running water and sink plugs. Bleach water sanitizer set up at 100 to 200 ppm chlorine at time of inspection.
Quats sanitizer available in labeled spray bottle at 200 ppm.
No signs of recent pest activity observed at time of inspection.
FOODSAFE certified staff on site. Certificate valid to August 21, 2027.
Note: Some debris observed under hand sink and in coolers; ensure debris is properly cleaned and areas are sanitized.
